The new BIR commissioner,\u00a0Ms. Lilia Guillermo<\/a>\u00a0once said, \u201cEffective Digital Leadership is Key to Digital Transformation.\u201d It is indeed true as the\u00a0BIR\u00a0<\/a>is steadily building and structuring its Digital Transformation Roadmap for 2022-2023 by creating different memorandum concerning digitalization. From Electronic Invoicing System to the new Online Registration and Update System (ORUS BIR) both of which are aiming for a convenient, accessible and seamless business process for taxpayers involved.<\/p>

Online Registration and Update System (ORUS BIR)<\/h4>

The Online Registration and Update System (ORUS BIR) will allow taxpayers to register, update and transact with the bureau any registration-related transactions online, automating the manual way of doing it.<\/p>

Who are allowed to access the system?<\/h4>

It is open to all taxpayers who will be transacting with the bureau with any registration-related concerns are welcome to use the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS BIR) once available. Taxpayers who are doing manual transaction with the bureau shall update their record like contact information and email address. This update can be done by filling up the S1-905 or the Registration Update Sheet (RUS) that can be downloaded\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>

It is important that the provided email address on the form shall be the taxpayer\u2019s official email address. It is where the bureau will be serving notices, updates and other related concerns to the taxpayer.<\/p>

In updating, taxpayers shall first update their head office registration then update their branch. While for employed individuals, their employers shall inform them about this new requirement. The fille up RUS maybe submitted to the following email assigned below:<\/p>
