N3 API and Infrastructure Usage Policy
N3 API and Infrastructure Usage Policy Contents
Purpose
This N3 API & Infrastructure Usage Policy establishes the usage limits, resource allocation framework, and fair usage guidelines applicable to customers, partners, developers, and applications utilizing APIs and infrastructure resources within the N3 platform.
The purpose of this policy is to ensure fair and efficient allocation of shared resources, maintain platform security and reliability, and provide a consistent service experience for all users.
N3 is a software platform owned and operated by QNE Software. All APIs, infrastructure services, and platform resources referenced in this policy are provided and managed by QNE Software.
Scope
This policy applies to all API consumption and infrastructure usage generated through:
- Applications developed using N3 App Builder
- Applications distributed through the N3 App Store
- Technology Partner integrations
- Custom integrations utilizing N3 APIs
- Any third-party solution connected to the N3 platform
Guiding Principle
API consumption and infrastructure usage are governed by the subscription plan of the customer utilizing the application or integration.
The same API and infrastructure limits apply regardless of whether the customer is using:
- An internally developed application built using N3 App Builder
- An application obtained through the N3 App Store
- A Technology Partner integration
- A custom-developed integration
All API activity generated under a customer subscription is aggregated and measured against the limits associated with that subscription.
Infrastructure Usage Limits
| Subscription Plan | API Call Rate | Daily Limit | Concurrent Request Limit | Monthly Egress |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic / Prime / Essential* | Up to 5 documents per minute | 500 documents per day | 3 concurrent requests | 5 GB |
| Professional | Up to 10 documents per minute | 1,000 documents per day | 5 concurrent requests | 10 GB |
| Growth | Up to 20 documents per minute | 2,000 documents per day | 5 concurrent requests | 50 GB |
| Enterprise | Up to 60 documents per minute | 5,000 documents per day | 5 concurrent requests | 250 GB |
| Enterprise Integration Infrastructure | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
* Applicable to customers utilizing N3 App Store applications.
Definitions
API Call Rate
The maximum number of document-processing requests permitted within a one-minute period.
Daily Limit
The maximum number of documents that may be processed through API services within a calendar day.
Concurrent Request Limit
The maximum number of API requests that may be processed simultaneously.
Monthly Egress
The total volume of outbound data transferred from the N3 platform to external applications, systems, or services during a calendar month.
Monthly Ingress
The volume of data transmitted into the N3 platform. Monthly ingress usage is currently unlimited.
Usage Monitoring
Usage limits are measured and enforced on a per-subscription basis.
All API activity generated by applications, integrations, automations, and services connected to a customer account contributes toward the customer’s allocated limits.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their applications and integrations operate within the limits associated with their subscription plan.
Exceeding Usage Limits
To maintain platform stability and service quality, QNE Software may automatically apply controls when usage exceeds the allocated limits, including:
- Rate limiting
- Request throttling
- Request queuing
- Temporary rejection of excessive requests
Affected services will automatically resume normal operation when usage returns within the applicable limits.
Fair Usage Policy
QNE Software reserves the right to implement reasonable measures to protect the N3 platform from excessive, abusive, or abnormal usage patterns that may negatively affect system performance or other customers.
Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Excessive automated requests
- Attempts to bypass platform limits or restrictions
- Activities that create unusual system load
- Unauthorized bulk processing activities
- Use of APIs in a manner inconsistent with published documentation
Enterprise Integration Infrastructure
Organizations requiring higher throughput, dedicated resources, custom processing limits, or enterprise-scale integrations may subscribe to Enterprise Integration Infrastructure.
Available resources may include:
- Custom API call rates
- Increased daily processing limits
- Higher bandwidth allocations
- Dedicated infrastructure resources
- Custom service-level arrangements
Availability, specifications, and pricing are subject to commercial agreement and technical assessment by QNE Software.
Policy Changes
QNE Software reserves the right to modify this policy from time to time to reflect platform enhancements, security requirements, infrastructure changes, or service improvements.
Updated versions will be published through official N3 communication channels and shall take effect upon publication unless otherwise stated.
Effectivity
This policy takes effect immediately and applies to all existing and future customers, applications, integrations, and API consumers utilizing the N3 platform.
